Dr. Wehrli is Member of the Board of BioMedPartners AG.

Currently, Dr. Wehrli serves as chairman of the board of directors of Clariant AG and as member of the board of Kambly SA. Formely, he was also board member of Berner Kantonalbank.

In 1995, he joined the management of Gurit-Heberlein. Three years later, he became chairman of the management and Chief Operation Officer of this company and from 2000 until 2006, he was Chief Executive Officer.

From 1985 until 1995, he was marketing and sales manager and a member of the management board of Silent Gliss Gruppe in Bern. Dr. Wehrli later became managing director of Silent Gliss Deutschland GmbH.

In the middle of the 1980s, he was vice director in the specialist financing department of Credit Suisse. Dr. Wehrli began his career as a management consultant at McKinsey.

He holds Ph.D’s in Philosophy and Theology.
