Mr. Locher is Business and Scientific Advisor of BioMedPartners AG.

Today, he is member of the Board of Directors of Coltene AG and Thommen Medical AG.

In 1996, he became President of Mathys Medical AG and Director of the Synthes franchise and grew the company with innovative concepts in traumatology and spinal surgery. He negotiated and closed the sale of the company to Synthes Inc.

In the early nineties, Mr. Erwin Locher was President of Allo Pro, a former Sulzer Medica and Zimmer company active in the field of ortho-pedic surgery.

Prior to the medical device field, Mr. Locher held managing positions at Migros and Zellweger.

He started his business career as operational Auditor at Sandoz.

Mr. Locher holds a degree in Economics from the University of Basel and a master's degree from the University of Toronto.
