Carsten Just was Member of the Advisory Board of BioMedInvest II LP until November 2016.

Carsten Just works as Investment Manager at the European Investment Fund (EIF). Mr Just has been engaged with early-stage financing since 1996.

With Fraunhofer he developed and implemented various initiatives and services for financial institutes, e.g. a due diligence service for the German Savings Bank and Giro Association ("DSGV") and a business angels initiative within Deutsche Bank Group.

Between 2005 and 2012, he was an investment director for a German private equity company with a focus on portfolio transactions before he joined the EIF's ERP-EIF Dachfonds Team.

Mr Just studied business engineering and holds a master of laws (LL.M.).
